Implementation Specialist

Job Description Motion Recruitment is currently partnering with an international financial software company with a growing presence in North America, specializing in solutions for the Buy-Side and Sell-Side financial markets. They are looking for driven Implementation Specialists with a strong interest and background in both software technology and finance to support the growth of their North American operations. This position involves leveraging expertise in configuring multiple software and data products to guide clients through the implementation process. Additionally, the role includes providing occasional client support and contributing to presales initiatives as needed. • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in software implementation and/or support
• Database skills with SQL (MSSQL /Oracle/PostgreSQL)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.) required.
• Knowledge of financial markets, securities, principles, and practices
• Ability to work independently and also driven to be a strong team contributor

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related area
• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in software implementation and/or support
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to multi-task
• Must be located in Pennsylvania
• Occasional to frequent travel is required

What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities

• 20% Python/JavaScript scripting and SQL database work
• 60% Software and Data Implementation
• 20% client facing
