Lead DevOps Engineer

A large enterprise is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to join the team to lead a team of 10, scale their infrastructure, enhance development pipelines. This position offers a great opportunity to collaborate with highly skilled professionals while driving automation. This is a hybrid position, so the ideal candidate is located in the New England / greater Boston area. Salary range is $125k - $170k. 

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, and at least 6 years of experience in a DevOps position. In this role, you will work closely with engineering teams to lead automation and optimize cloud infrastructure/ CI/CD pipelines.Your contributions will help drive continuous improvement in development workflows and system uptime, while adhering to best security practices. 
Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field in Information Technology.
• 6 years of experience in a DevOps role
• Experience in maintaining Azure, GCP, or AWS environments
• Proficiency in Python
• Familiarity with developing and implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Understanding of Kubernetes and Docker
• Knowledge of implementation and authorization mechanisms in Azure (ideally)
