About Us:
We’re a high-growth Fintech/AI SaaS startup that just closed a $110M Series A from top-tier investors. Our platform is transforming how financial data is analyzed and acted upon using cutting-edge AI—helping institutions automate decisions, reduce risk, and scale with confidence.

Our founding CTO is a proven technologist with prior successful exits, and the current team includes a strong bench of junior engineers. We’re now looking to bring on a hands-on Lead or Staff Software Engineer to help shape the future of our architecture—and eventually grow into a Manager or Director-level leader as the team scales.

? What You’ll Do:
  • Build and scale core backend systems using Python, Django, and AWS.

  • Partner closely with the CTO to define architectural direction and long-term technical vision.

  • Mentor and lead junior engineers in day-to-day development and code quality.

  • Own high-priority features from design through deployment in a fast-moving startup environment.

  • Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

  • Option to grow into an engineering leadership role as the team expands over the next 6–12 months.

?? Tech Stack:
  • Backend: Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Redis

  • Frontend: React (light exposure, back-end focus)

  • Infrastructure: AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda), Docker, Terraform

  • Tooling: GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Sentry)

? You Might Be a Fit If You Have:
  • 6+ years of professional software development experience (ideally in a startup or high-growth environment)

  • Proven track record of shipping production-grade code and scaling backend systems

  • Strong experience with Python, Django, and cloud-native architecture (AWS preferred)

  • An interest in building foundational systems for AI and Fintech use cases

  • Experience mentoring or leading small teams—and a desire to grow into engineering leadership

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) from a top-tier university strongly preferred

? Bonus Points:
  • Experience in fintech, trading, or real-time data systems

  • Exposure to AI, MLOps, or data infrastructure

  • Familiarity with DevOps and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform)

Why Join Us?
  • Be one of the first 20 hires at a company backed by $110M in fresh funding

  • Work directly with a visionary CTO and founders with prior exits

  • Build meaningful technology in a space ready for disruption

  • Own real equity and a seat at the table as we scale
