An investment management client of mine is looking for a Sr. Platform and Security engineer to join the team. This is a dynamic DevSecOps/Platform team that tackles all of the biggest projects at the firm. They are right in the middle of a cloud transformation project and need someone to come in with strong AWS, Terraform, K8, coding skills and a security mindset.
These guys are just getting ready to push into production on their cloud journey so this is a fantastic time to get in and put your stamp on things. I have placed multiple people on the team and known the manager for a long time.
They are a Security focused SRE team that looks for folks who can code, help secure the pipeline, focus on observability and lift and shift to AWS.
What they are looking for;
? Strong proficiency in automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.
? Extensive experience with container technologies
? Solid understanding and practical experience with Linux operating systems.
? Proficient in programming and scripting with Python and Bash.
? Demonstrable experience with HashiCorp Packer for building Amazon AMIs for EC2.
? Significant experience managing Kubernetes clusters in a production environment.
? Development experience with Java microservices (both Maven and Gradle builds) as well as Python-based services
This is a Hybrid role in Boston with a target base of 200 and TC in the 240-250k range.
