Principal Backend Engineer for Construction Tech

Job Description The client is seeking an experienced Principal Backend Engineer to join their team and improve its efficiency. In this role, you'll build complex, cloud-based web applications to support thousands of users and scale with the company’s growth. The company provides a leading software platform for construction companies to manage planning and analytics. This is a fully remote position. The client is looking for a software engineer that has experience in Java Spring Boot and document store databases because the back-end software development is highly database centric. In need of self-starter with good interpersonal skills. Past experience working with relational databases is highly encouraged. Required Skills & Experience

• Java Spring Boot
• Document store databases (Firebase, MongoDB)
• Cloud Infrastructure (Google Cloud Services)

Desired Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of software development experience
• Backend Programming
• Linux Experience along with Mesos and Docker
• Degree in a related field
• Strong technical skills
