An investment firm in Boston, MA is looking to bring on a Product Specialist! The role is similar to a Senior Product Manager. The role is hybrid, and you are expected to be onsite in the Boston office twice a week.
The company manages investment portfolios by researching and selecting stocks and bonds with a focus on long-term value.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for acting as a liaison between investment teams, shared services, and clients, providing support for equity products with a focus on U.S. small-cap and small/mid-cap equity strategies. The ideal candidate possesses proven experience in equity product management, strong analytical skills, a passion for investment products, and the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts.

Required Skills and Experience
- 7+ years of experience in financial services, preferably in equity product management.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting (or equivalent experience).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong quantitative abilities.
- Create written content such as white papers, thought pieces, and marketing materials.
- Collaborate with internal teams on projects and initiatives supporting equity products.
- Assist with client and prospect deliverables, including reports and commentary.
- Act as a subject matter expert on small and mid-cap equity strategies for marketing and sales teams.
- Research market trends, client needs, and competitors to refine product positioning.
- Conduct marketing research to identify competitive advantages and new content ideas.
- Support training efforts to educate internal teams on product features and strategy updates.
