- 3–5 years of experience in network security, cloud security (AWS), and SIEM
- Strong knowledge of AWS security architecture (IAM, VPC, encryption)
- Experience managing firewalls, VPNs, WAFs, and IDS/IPS tools
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms like Splunk, Sumo Logic, or Elastic Stack
- Strong understanding of protocols like TLS, VPN, and IPsec
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, or NAIC standards)
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, or CEH
- Experience in highly regulated environments (insurance, finance, healthcare
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with networking and DevOps teams
- Familiarity with securing cloud-based CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to analyze and tune log correlation rules and threat detection models
