Senior DevOps Engineer

A prominent enterprise is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their Software Engineering team. This hybrid position involves being onsite once a week in Andover, MA, with a salary range of $140,000 to $180,000.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, as well as practical experience with Azure and Kubernetes. In this role, you will focus on improving energy efficiency, enhancing security, and reducing downtime for data centers. You will play a key part in ensuring the reliability of their cloud-based platform and managing software solutions that help Data Center Managers worldwide optimize energy usage.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in maintaining Azure or AWS environments
• Proficiency in Java
• Familiarity with developing and implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Understanding of Kubernetes and Docker
• Proficient in Jira
• Knowledge of implementation and authorization mechanisms in Azure

Desired Skills & Experience

•  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field in Information Technology.
• Proficient in using Prometheus, Grafana, and Alerta for system monitoring, performance visualization, and alert management.
• Experienced with Ansible for automating software provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment.
• Familiar with Terraform for building and managing infrastructure through code, ensuring efficient and reproducible cloud resource management.
