Cloud Operations Engineer (DevOps)

A technology-focused company that leverages artificial intelligence to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and extract insights through data analysis or automation solutions is hiring for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join their team. This is a fully remote, full-time role with a salary range of $120k - $150k. 

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an AWS or GCP background (okay with Azure but that will not be necessary for this role). Strong Terraform experience will make you stand out as well as past experience working at a Saas company or a start-up (working with a small team). Must have proven experience of building and maintaining cloud infrastructure (AWS/ GCP) with IaC. Other requirements include CI/CD experience (open to tools), Docker, Ansible, Kubernetes, and a background in DevOps. 


Required Skills & Experience

• Strong Terraform knowledge
• Experience with GCP or AWS maintenance
• Experience with IaC tools (Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform)
• Proficient in Python, Bash or PowerShell
• Kubernetes
• Familiarity with building and implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Saas company experience
• Can work with a small team
• experience with infrastructure, security, and firewalls
  

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or other IT related field
• Capable and self-directed
• Located in the greater Boston/ New England area
• Desire to learn and grow
• Experience working on a smaller team
