A top-tier financial services client based in Boston is hiring a Senior Network Engineer for a full-time hybrid role. This position is part of a core infrastructure team that supports secure, scalable, and highly available network operations across the company’s trading platforms, data centers, and cloud environments.
As the firm continues investing in its digital transformation, the Senior Network Engineer will lead efforts to modernize the network architecture, bringing a focus on automation, resiliency, and compliance-driven design. This is a full-time role. Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of experience in network engineering roles, preferably within financial services or enterprise environments
- Deep knowledge of Cisco Nexus, Arista, or Juniper platforms
- Advanced routing and switching: BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN
- Strong experience with Palo Alto or Fortinet firewalls
- Proficiency in network automation using Python, Ansible, or Terraform
- Familiarity with cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience in low-latency or high-availability trading environments
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and network compliance
- Exposure to SD-WAN, Zero Trust, or microsegmentation strategies
- Strong documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills
