Our client is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager to join its Corporate Marketing team in a hybrid role based in New York. This is a full-time opportunity supporting transactional legal practices, working closely with senior lawyers and business development professionals to develop high-quality pitches, proposals, and RFP responses using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
This role sits at the center of high-stakes corporate transactions and offers direct exposure to senior partners and complex, market-leading deals. Our client is looking for someone who understands how deal teams operate and can translate legal and business strategy into clear, persuasive proposals. The position offers strong visibility, meaningful ownership of proposal strategy, and the opportunity to influence how the firm competes for and wins new business.

Experience developing pitches, proposals, and RFP responses in a professional services environment (legal, investment banking, or consulting)

Strong understanding of corporate transactions, including M&A, Securities, and Capital Markets

Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills

Proven project management experience with the ability to manage multiple deadlines

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

Experience working directly with senior stakeholders

Prior business development experience within a law firm

Familiarity with CRM systems and experience databases

Advanced degree in Business, Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related field

Lead the development of tailored pitches, proposals, and RFP responses in partnership with senior lawyers

Translate complex legal and business concepts into clear, persuasive written materials

Manage proposal timelines from request through final delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Develop and maintain experience lists, deal descriptions, and reusable proposal content

Coordinate feedback from partners and business development stakeholders

Track proposal activity and outcomes within CRM and content management systems

Base salary range: $176,000 – $258,000 (based on experience and location)
