Our client is a cutting-edge warehouse automation robotics company revolutionizing the logistics industry through intelligent robotic solutions. Their mission is to enhance operational efficiency and streamline supply chain processes with advanced robotic systems.

They are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Robotics Field Engineer to lead deployments, maintain, and troubleshoot our robotic automation systems in warehouse environments. This role involves working directly with customers to ensure seamless system integration, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with internal engineering teams to enhance system performance. The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience with robotics, automation, and mechatronics, along with strong problem-solving skills in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the installation, commissioning, and configuration of robotic automation systems at customer sites.

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex robotic hardware and software issues to ensure peak performance.

  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and training to junior engineers and customer personnel.

  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to optimize robotic workflows and resolve advanced technical challenges.

  • Conduct advanced system diagnostics, firmware updates, and calibration procedures.

  • Work closely with the engineering team to provide feedback for hardware and software improvements.

  • Develop and implement best practices for field deployments and maintenance procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards while operating in warehouse environments.

  • Travel to customer sites as required for deployments, maintenance, and support.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in field engineering, robotics, automation, or a related technical role.

  • Strong hands-on experience with robotic systems, sensors, actuators, and industrial automation equipment.

  • Expertise in diagnosing and troubleshooting robotic hardware and software issues.

  • Proficiency in ROS (Robot Operating System), Python, or C++ is highly desirable.

  • Experience with PLCs, motion control systems, and industrial networking protocols.

  • Ability to interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

  • Proven ability to manage field deployments, mentor junior engineers, and optimize system performance.

  • Willingness to travel frequently and work in dynamic warehouse environments.
