Senior Software Engineer/C++/Boston

Their cutting-edge product enables insurance companies to accurately predict the financial impact of natural disasters on individuals, enhancing risk assessment and decision-making processes.

They're seeking a skilled and passionate Senior C++ Engineer to join their product team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing sophisticated algorithms and models that simulate the potential damage from natural disasters. Your expertise in C++ will be instrumental in building robust, high-performance software that meets the needs of our clients in the insurance sector. Professional experience in an AWS setting in a must!

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in C++ software development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Experience in developing simulation or modeling software, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector.
• Proficient in performance optimization and multi-threading in C++ applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
