Full Time

$150k - $200k

Our client is a rapidly growing robotics company revolutionizing warehouse automation through advanced robotic systems, intelligent software, and scalable infrastructure. Their mission is to streamline and accelerate warehouse operations with high-performance automation solutions powered by state-of-the-art simulation and GPU-based computing.

They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in GPU programming, simulation frameworks, and high-performance computing to design, build, and optimize advanced simulation systems. You will work closely with our robotics software, AI, and systems engineering teams to build simulation platforms that accelerate development, testing, and deployment of our autonomous warehouse robots.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement high-fidelity, real-time simulation systems for autonomous robots and warehouse environments.

  • Leverage GPU programming (CUDA, OpenCL, or Vulkan) to accelerate physics simulation, sensor emulation, and 3D rendering.

  • Collaborate with robotics, perception, and control teams to integrate real-world robot behaviors and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing into simulation.

  • Optimize system performance for large-scale simulations across distributed systems or cloud infrastructure.

  • Develop visualization tools and UIs to support simulation-based testing and debugging.

  • Maintain and extend simulation platforms to support continuous integration pipelines and scenario-based validation.

  • Mentor junior engineers and help shape system architecture and software engineering best practices.

Qualifications:
  • B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience developing software in C++ and/or Python, with a strong focus on performance and system design.

  • Deep understanding of GPU programming (e.g., CUDA, OpenCL) and optimization techniques.

  • Experience with simulation frameworks such as NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Gazebo, Unity, Unreal Engine, or custom physics engines.

  • Familiarity with physics-based modeling, 3D environments, and kinematic/dynamic simulations of robotic systems.

  • Experience with robotics middleware (e.g., ROS2) and integrating simulation with real-time systems.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in cloud-based simulation at scale (e.g., AWS, Kubernetes, container orchestration).

  • Knowledge of machine learning pipelines and synthetic data generation using simulation.

  • Familiarity with warehouse automation workflows, logistics, or robotic manipulation systems.

  • Background in high-performance computing, parallel algorithms, or distributed systems.

Why Join?
  • Be a part of a mission-driven company transforming warehouse operations through intelligent automation.

  • Work on cutting-edge GPU and simulation technologies alongside top-tier robotics engineers.

  • Competitive salary, stock options, and comprehensive benefits.

  • Flexible work environment and the opportunity to shape the future of automation.
