Senior Software Engineer / YANG experience

We are currently working with a company that supplies their clients with Quantum powered cloud and data centers to prepare them for the next level of computing. Their clients include utility companies, telecommunications, public sectors, and research industries to build the next quantum world. 

They are seeking a talented Software Engineer with a strong background in YANG modeling to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and integrating YANG-based models to enhance network configuration and management.

This role will be fully remote working on Eastern Time Zone and will be a Full Time, Direct Hire role with the client.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience with network orchestration platforms.
• Knowledge of tools like pyang, yanglint, or YANG Suite.
• Contributions to open-source projects related to YANG or network management.
• Familiarity with cloud-native networking and infrastructure.
• Experience designing and developing YANG models for network configuration and operational data.
• Implement and maintain tools for model validation and testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate YANG models into existing systems.
• Develop APIs and interfaces for interacting with YANG-based configurations.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in YANG and related technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building efficient, maintainable solutions.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Background in data visualization and reporting tools is a plus.
