An AI startup based in Boston that's dedicated to pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence and machine learning is looking for a Software Architect to join their team.
As a Software Architect, you will be responsible for designing and architecting scalable, robust, and high-performance software solutions that leverage AI and machine learning technologies. You will work closely with our team of data scientists, engineers, and product managers to define technical requirements, develop architectural designs, and implement innovative solutions that drive our product forward. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI projects and contribute to the success of our startup.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years leading technical initiatives
- Proficiency in Java and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of ML best practices
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Startup background with AI being a plus
- Advanced degree or PhD in AI or machine learning
What You'll Be Doing: Tech Breakdown:
- 80% Backend
- 20% Frontend
- Define and implement best practices, design patterns, and coding standards
- Lead the implementation of AI algorithms, models, and pipelines
- Work closely with data scientists to understand AI models and algorithms
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate AI frameworks, tools, and technologies to support our technical roadmap and business objectives.
- Salary: $170-200k DOE
