Software Development Engineer
This company is looking for an SDET who can build new automation frameworks, write and maintain test scripts in a CI/CD pipeline, and work directly with their development team to harden product quality. You’ll be hands-on with AWS services and expected to continually improve and expand our automation capabilities.
The company is located in Lafayette St/Theater District (Downtown Boston, MA) and will be 3 days onsite a week with 2 remote days.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Build test frameworks and tools that improve efficiency and validate cloud functionality, reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Develop automation solutions and internal web applications—primarily using Angular—to meet business and stakeholder needs.
- Evaluate emerging tools and technologies and recommend those that meaningfully improve delivery or testing outcomes.
- Apply modern technologies and approaches to design, test, and develop cloud features and automation.
- Architect scalable environments and infrastructure for automated test execution.
- Introduce new frameworks and methodologies to accelerate the testing lifecycle.
- BS in Computer Science or related technical field.
- At least 1 year of hands-on AWS cloud infrastructure experience.
- At least 1 year building and deploying cloud microservices.
- Professional—not academic—experience designing solutions with AWS, microservices, Docker, and containerized systems.
- 3+ years coding with .NET Core.
- Experience designing and building REST API–based services.
- Minimum 1 year of Angular development.
- Strong knowledge of front-end web technologies (Angular, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3).
- Familiarity with DevOps workflows and deployment using Docker and AWS.
- Experience developing automation frameworks in SaaS environments.
- Nice to have: exposure to AI/ML concepts or tooling.
- Must be able to work remotely now, with an expectation to transition to 3 days onsite / 2 days remote moving forward.
