Software Engineer Manager in the Insurance Industry

Job Description The client is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Software Engineering Manager to join their team and enhance its efficiency and effectiveness. As a Software Engineering Manager, you’ll be leading a team of software engineers in the development of critical applications that will streamline their billing software. This organization is a global insurance company that provides a wide range of insurance products to individuals and businesses. The right candidate will need to have the ability to commute to their office in Boston MA three times a week. Major duties include helping the team work together and being the touch person for all activity of the project. The client is looking for a manager that has experience in .NET, C#, JavaScript and some cloud exposure. In need of self-starter with good interpersonal skills. Past management experience is encouraged but not required. Required Skills & Experience

• Software Architecture exposure
• Code Review

• Experience working with government agencies
• 8+ years of software development experience
• Degree in a related field
• Strong technical skills
• Experience with SQL and MySQL Databases
