Our client, a fast-growing SaaS startup, is seeking a Staff Software Engineer as they expand their Boston team. Their comprehensive AI platform is used by insurers to improve customer experiences, automating claims and underwriting processes. This cloud-based service simplifies client-customer interactions, drastically shortening call wait times and improving customer experience. In anticipation of new growth and funding, they are seeking to expand their SWE, Forward Deployment, and Data Science teams. As part of this, they are hiring a Staff Software Engineer who will collaborate on the design and development of applications for their growing platform.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in writing high-quality production software in Python, FastAPI, and Django, as well as experience working with frontend languages such as NodeJS, React, or Typescript. Knowledge of foundational LLMs or experience working in fast-paced/startup environments are a plus. This is a full-time direct hire role, 2-3 days/wk hybrid in the company’s Boston office. - 8+ years of experience in software development in Python
- Significant experience with FastAPI and Django, as well as other relevant Python frameworks
- Hands-on experience using frontend languages including NodeJS, React, and/or Typescript
- Experience in cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud, and/or Azure
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and their applications in cloud environments and software development
- Prior work experience in a startup or startup-like environment
- Experience in building/deploying LLM models
