As the VP of Technology, you will be responsible for defining and executing the company’s technology strategy, ensuring seamless integration of hardware and embedded software solutions. You will lead a cross-functional engineering team, drive product innovation, and collaborate with executive leadership to align technical capabilities with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:-
Develop and execute the company’s technology roadmap, balancing innovation with practical implementation.

Lead, mentor, and expand a team of hardware, firmware, and embedded software engineers.

Oversee the architecture, design, and development of hardware and embedded software systems.

Ensure product reliability, scalability, and manufacturability by implementing best engineering practices.

Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the industry.

Work closely with product management, operations, and business teams to align technical initiatives with market demands.

Establish engineering processes, quality standards, and compliance measures for hardware and software development.

Partner with external stakeholders, including suppliers, manufacturing partners, and investors, to drive successful product development.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.

12+ years of experience in hardware and embedded software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Deep expertise in embedded systems, firmware development, and hardware design.

Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, FPGA, PCB design, signal processing, and system integration.

Experience in taking products from concept to production, including prototyping, testing, and scaling manufacturing.

Proven ability to manage and grow engineering teams in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic decision-making skills.

Experience working with regulatory standards and certifications for hardware products.

Experience in industries such as IoT, robotics, autonomous systems, or consumer electronics.

Familiarity with AI/ML integration in embedded systems.

Prior experience working with venture-backed start-ups.
