We are working with a leading technology company to fill a key position for a VP of Machine Learning and Computer Vision. This is a full-time, direct-hire role based in Greater Boston. Our client develops real-time software solutions that leverage machine learning and computer vision, deployed in production today. This position is a great opportunity for an experienced leader who wants to guide a team working on complex, high-scale technology.
About the Role:
Our client is looking for a VP of Machine Learning and Computer Vision to lead their technical strategy and execution in AI-driven, real-time software solutions. This role will involve overseeing a team of engineers and data scientists, setting the technical direction, and ensuring the delivery of scalable machine learning models and computer vision systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AI and real-time systems, a strong leadership background, and the ability to manage and guide teams working on challenging, high-visibility projects.

Significant experience leading machine learning and computer vision teams, especially in real-time software applications.

Proven track record in developing and deploying machine learning models and computer vision systems at scale.

Strong leadership and team management experience, including mentoring and guiding engineers and data scientists.

Deep understanding of AI/ML frameworks, algorithms, and real-time data processing.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and real-time computing technologies.

Ability to communicate clearly with technical teams and executives.

Advanced degree (PhD or Master's) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or related field.

Experience with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, and reinforcement learning.

Prior experience in deploying computer vision solutions in industries such as robotics, automotive, or healthcare.
