Staff Software Developer/Golang/Hybrid/Calgary

Our client is based out of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This role is FT, and required to work 3-4 days onsite. Our client is open to assisting in relocation for the role.

Our client offer's a comprehensive platform that simplifies workforce travel logistics—covering everything from lodging to transportation. Built specifically for crew-based operations, our solution centralizes booking, trip management, payments, and reporting, while giving organizations the insight and control needed to efficiently manage and optimize travel for their teams.

Our client is currently migrating their backend microservices from Node.js into Golang. In this role, you would be mentoring/teaching the development team the Golang language to ease the migration process. You would be working a mix on mentoring and hands-on coding, spearheading the implementation of Golang.

Our client was founded in 2016, throughout the years they have seen continuous growth, and have never once had a round of layoffs. 

Required Skills & Experience

· Software Development (10+ years), Golang and gRPC expertise (3+ years), 

· Excellent communication, ability to lead and mentor.

What You Will Be Doing

Tech Breakdown

· 30% Hands-on Coding

· 70% mentoring

The Offer

· 170k to 200k base salary
· Up to 35% in incentives
