Job Title: Founding Product Designer

This early-stage health technology company is on a mission to transform the diagnostic and care experience for patients suffering from chronic inflammatory and environmentally acquired conditions. By combining cutting-edge diagnostics with compassionate digital care delivery, they are building a patient-first platform designed to provide clear answers and relief to those navigating complex, often invisible health issues.

They’re seeking a Founding Product Designer to shape the interface and visual identity that defines their brand. This is a hands-on role centered on building a patient-first experience from scratch. You bring the vision of a creative director and the execution skills of a product designer, turning complexity into elegant, intuitive experiences.


Responsibilities

• Craft seamless and intuitive consumer experiences
• Take ownership of key touchpoints, including onboarding, lab results, care plans, and dashboards
• Simplify complex medical information into accessible, easy-to-understand interactions
• Develop a thoughtful design language that feels distinctly human
• Create and scale a comprehensive design system that supports quick, high-quality product development
• Define design guidelines and patterns that elevate
• Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, clinical, and growth teams

Requirements

• 4–8+ years of experience in product design with an impactful, consumer-focused company. Background in consumer health or wellness is a big plus
• A strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality digital work across web and mobile platforms
• Exceptional visual judgment and a track record of delivering premium design
• Proficiency in Figma and other AI-powered creative tools
• Skill in translating complex clinical concepts into clear, resonant visuals.

Compensation: $135,000 - $165,000. Flexibility with experience.
