Network Architect/Hybrid

We’re working with a well-established IT solutions provider based in South Jersey that’s looking to hire a Network Architect on a full-time, direct-hire basis. This company delivers cutting-edge network and security solutions to enterprise clients across healthcare, education, finance, and government sectors. This role will be heavily focused on Cisco routing/switching, Meraki cloud-managed networks, and overall network design and architecture.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team that’s leading large-scale digital transformations across the Mid-Atlantic. The organization is looking for a high-level thinker and doer—someone who can own network architecture from concept through execution. If you’ve been hands-on in Cisco enterprise environments, love designing scalable solutions, and want to have a direct say in how networks are built, this is your playground. You’ll have autonomy, support from a strong team, and a seat at the table when it comes to tech direction.

Required Skills & Experience
· 7+ years in enterprise networking roles
· Strong architecture and deployment experience with Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls
· In-depth experience with Meraki dashboard, firewalls, switches, and wireless access points
· Expertise in designing secure and scalable LAN/WAN environments
· Proficiency with Layer 2/3, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VPNs
· Ability to document, present, and defend network design decisions to both technical and business stakeholders

Desired Skills & Experience
· CCNP or CCIE certifications strongly preferred
· Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, NetBox, etc.)
· Knowledge of SD-WAN solutions
· Familiarity with firewall platforms like Palo Alto or Fortinet
· Experience with hybrid environments (on-prem/cloud connectivity, Azure networking a plus)
