Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, configure, and support Active Directory environments, including Group Policy, DNS, and domain controllers.
- Oversee and maintain the Hyper-V virtualization infrastructure, ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.
- Perform routine backups, monitoring, and maintenance of AD and Hyper-V systems.
- Provide troubleshooting and resolve technical issues related to Active Directory, Hyper-V, and related services.
- Implement security best practices within AD, including user management, permissions, and access controls.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate and support virtualization technologies.
- Assist with system upgrades, patch management, and server migrations as needed.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation and reports.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements, particularly within the banking sector.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Active Directory administration and support.
- 3+ years of experience with Hyper-V virtualization technology.
- Strong understanding of Windows Server environments (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022).
- Experience with DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and related AD services.
- Proficiency in PowerShell for automation and scripting.
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery procedures for AD and Hyper-V.
- Experience in large-scale, enterprise environments (preferably within banking/finance).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Azure).
- Familiarity with IT security best practices and regulatory compliance in the banking industry.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate).
