Required Skills & Experience
- Prior Experience implementing data quality rules with Acceldata (preferred) or similar DQ Rules Automation products such as Qualtrics, etc.
- Strong SQL / HiveQL skills.
- Experience with Hadoop / HDFS / Hive, Mongo, Teradata, SQL, and GCP.
- Experience with Cloud-first data architecture, such as Spring Cloud.
- Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships.
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with Banking, Finance, Risk, Regulatory Reporting data platforms and technologies, and experience addressing data related requirements of internal stakeholder.
- Experience with Marketing, marketing suppression and traits processes, credit data, and/or eligibility pre-qualification.
- Broad experience with Banking applications, products, technology architecture and systems integration experience in consumer and small business banking, consumer lending, and wealth and investment management.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to engage and influence senior technology and business executives.

- Familiarity with Hue, Dremio, or other similar data workbenches.
What You Will Be Doing
- Serve in a Centralized Support function providing Data Quality services, training, knowledge and expertise to a collection of Marketing and Offers oriented Data Product teams.
- Quickly learn and become an internal “expert” on the Acceldata data quality SaaS product and use that knowledge to train others outside of our Centralized team.
- Use functional knowledge to assist in defining Data Quality requirements and translating requirements into Data Quality rule design.
- Write simple (example: enumeration, null, etc.) and complex (examples: relational, recon, anomaly detection, drift) Data Quality rules against data tables residing in SQL, Mongo, Hadoop/Hive, GCP, and Teradata to meet the requirements of the Product team.
- Conduct testing to confirm Data Quality rules meet stated requirements.
- Perform analysis of data quality rules in production to identify trends and patterns that may suggest a modification in rule or rule threshold is required.
- Present recommendations to the team to maximize operational efficiency, quality, and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to data management or data governance regulations and policies.
- Collaborate and consult with more experienced consultants and with partners in technology and other business groups.
