Contract Duration: 24 Months

Required Skills & Experience
  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with GCP services including GKE, BigQuery, GCS, Filestore, IAM, and networking or other similar cloud technologies.
  • At least 4+ years of experience building Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration with deep expertise in GKE.
  • At least 4+ years of experience using Terraform for infrastructure as code, including complex cluster provisioning in production settings.
  • At least 3+ years of experience configuring and managing scalable storage solutions including GCP Filestore, GCS, and BigQuery.
  • Experience in cloud migration projects including operating in a hybrid cloud mode.
  • Experience working in agile team and following SDLC routines for code management and deployment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Experience deploying, operating or using SAS Analytics products
  • 3+ years of experience with VPC design, private networking, ingresss/egress configurations, and load balancing in GCP.
  • 3+ years of experience with GCP best practices, including IAM roles, services accounts, and secrets management.
  • GCP or Kubernetes certifications.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables.
  • Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.
