Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Google Cloud Engineer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, GKE, Cloud
- Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, etc.
- Proficiency with, Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Cloud Build).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid grasp of cloud security principles and IAM configuration.
- Google Cloud certification (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect or Cloud Engineer) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Stackdriver, Prometheus, or Datadog.
- Understanding of networking, DNS, VPC, and firewall configurations in GCP.
What You Will Be Doing
- Design and implement GCP-based solutions to support scalable and secure applications.
- Manage and monitor cloud resources, services, and security using GCP-native tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide cloud architecture guidance.
- Support CI/CD pipeline integration and configuration on GCP.
- Perform cost optimization, security hardening, and performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot issues across cloud services and applications.
- Ensure compliance with security and operational best practices.
- Will work closely with DevOps, application development, and security teams to implement cloud solutions that align with our business goals.
