Contract Duration: 6 + Months to 24 months



Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience.
  • Capital Markets and/or Middle office experience. 
  • Writing requirements and test cases for execution.
  • Facilitating discussions to ensure target states/solutions are clearly articulated end-to-end.
  • Performing path analysis (“if this, then what” scenarios).
  • Framing conversations to drive decision-making.
  • Partnering with technology teams to increase agility (AGILE methodology focus).
  • Leading and shaping a robust, methodical testing approach.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Business Execution.
  • Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale, or longer-term Business Execution challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
  • Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
Overview of Team & Scope
  • Focus on strategic planning and change execution across the line of business.
  • Covers all operational functions: middle office, securities, derivatives, and supporting areas.
  • Engaged in multi-year strategic planning across platforms.
  • Emphasis on automation, scalability, and business case creation.

Role Responsibilities
  • Business analysis and documentation. (75% BA work in this role but depends on where things are in the life cycle) 
  • Developing and delivering presentation decks.
  • Writing requirements and test cases for execution.
  • Facilitating discussions to ensure target states/solutions are clearly articulated end-to-end.
  • Performing path analysis (“if this, then what” scenarios).
  • Framing conversations to drive decision-making.
  • Partnering with technology teams to increase agility (AGILE methodology focus).
  • Leading and shaping a robust, methodical testing approach.
  • Strategic input into overall project/test approach.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written), with ability to distill complex issues into clear status reports tailored to the audience (including C-level executives).

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Background in capital markets/sales & trading operations preferred.
  • Must understand post-trade lifecycle.
  • Not a technical role, but SQL knowledge is a plus.
  • Must not come from a purely technical background.
  • Primary support areas: middle office and derivatives operations (majority of focus).
