Required Skills & Experience
- A BS/BA degree or higher
- Scrum Master Certification(s) (e.g. SAFe)
- 10+ years of Agile experience
- 10 + years of experience as a scrum master
- 3+ years of JIRA experience

- Proven skill at adapting and learning about stakeholder needs and expectations.
- Experience working with compliance and risk professionals.
- Proficient in identifying Regulatory requirements, deficiencies and to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to write clear concise requirements documents, create current and future state diagrams, conduct gap analysis, incorporate requirements, and obtain client validation on business requirements
- Must demonstrate ability to develop and own software platform implementation plans, manage client expectations, track issues, risks, and scope changes throughout all phases of assigned projects
- Must possess strong relationship management experience – delivering technology platform for enterprise, working with one or more internal technology organizations while ensuring risk and business requirements are met.
- Will have proven track record as a change enabler – champion large scale technology platform changes in financial and/or risk arena as well as manage expectations for the successful delivery of applications
- Must have demonstrated experience with managing large-scale initiatives including stakeholders across business and technical teams
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead Agile/Scrum Practices: Guide teams in Agile best practices, ensuring readiness, prioritization, and commitment each sprint.
- Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Own and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies for one or more teams.
- SDLC Execution: Lead and perform the clients' SDLC process including executing the change process in ServiceNow and other systems, meeting and passing all hard gates, and delivering value reliably and on time.
- Remove Impediments: Proactively identify and address blockers or systemic issues limiting team performance.
- Optimize Team Performance: Use empirical data to evaluate maturity, improve velocity, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Quality Assurance (QA), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Automated Testing: Experience supporting QA and UAT planning and execution across multiple workstreams, ensuring testing activities align with business requirements, regulatory needs, and release timelines.
- Release Management: Experience coordinating software releases in compliance with enterprise change management and governance standards, especially within highly regulated environments.
- Coach Teams: Ensure delivery aligns with Agile practices, SDLC requirements, release processes, and risk/security policies.
- Support Backlog Management: Partner closely with Product Owners to maintain and refine the backlog—including items from multiple projects.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with discipline managers, project/program managers, and stakeholders to communicate progress and escalate risks or issues.
- Promote Organizational Agility: Drive Scrum adoption across the organization and help scale Agile practices.
- Assess Team Skills: Identify team strengths and gaps; recommend adjustments to create high-performing teams.
- Manage Complex Work: Facilitate efforts involving cross-functional impacts, moderately complex projects, enhancements, or maintenance work.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with executives, risk/compliance partners, and technology teams to ensure governance and alignment with corporate standards
- Facilitate daily standups and Scrum ceremonies with team(s). Participate in Scrum planning and review sessions.
- Utilize Jira and ServiceNow
- Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Scrum or Agile.
- Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale, or longer-term Scrum Master challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
- Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
