The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS cloud-native tools and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure to ensure high performance, scalability, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- AWS Cloud Architecture: Design and implement scalable, secure, and robust cloud architectures using AWS cloud-native tools.
- Cloud Management: Manage and optimize AWS resources, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and other AWS services.
- Automation and Scripting: Develop automation scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS CLI.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement monitoring solutions to ensure system reliability and performance. Troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Security: Ensure cloud infrastructure adheres to best security practices and compliance requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer or in a similar role.
- Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture best practices.
- Proficiency with automation tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS CLI.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or similar.
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
- Certifications: AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or AWS Certified Developer are highly desirable.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
