AWS Cloud Engineer/ Charlotte, NC

This full-time, on-site role is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, with a fast-growing fintech organization focused on leveraging data intelligence and cutting-edge innovations to address financial challenges within targeted industries. As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you will play a vital role in building and managing cloud solutions for innovative software products while working with a dynamic team in a collaborative environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of five (5) years of combined experience in cloud security, DevSecOps, and data engineering.
• Expertise in AWS services, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, and VPC.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, including Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools, such as DAST, SAST, SonarQube, or Fortify.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining monitoring solutions for production environments.
