Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud-based infrastructure, utilizing services such as EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, and S3.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment pipelines using Terraform, AWS CodePipeline, and other relevant tools.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and fault tolerance across AWS environments.
- Implement security best practices and compliance standards, including SOC audits, penetration testing, and HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize workloads and ensure scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Develop and maintain scripts in Python for automation and system integration tasks.
- Administer databases, perform queries, and optimize SQL-based systems.
- Manage cloud operations using AWS SysOps tools and services.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, policies, and compliance protocols.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience in AWS Cloud Engineering, with strong hands-on experience in systems operations.
- Proficiency in AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, EC2, RDS, and CodePipeline.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python.
- Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Familiarity with SQL databases and ability to write and optimize queries.
- Understanding of compliance standards (HIPAA, SOC), security practices, and penetration testing.
- Experience in healthcare or financial environments is highly desirable.
- AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or AWS Certified Solutions Architect) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA).
- Experience with SOC audit processes and security assessments.
- Familiarity with penetration testing methodologies.
