Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced and driven Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join a purpose-oriented financial institution based in Massachusetts. Serving a large, nationwide membership, this organization plays a critical role in delivering secure digital banking services. In this position, you’ll operate at the intersection of cybersecurity and technology strategy, helping to safeguard key infrastructure and platforms.
You’ll collaborate with both the IT Security and Information Systems teams to support, fine-tune, and expand a diverse set of cybersecurity tools, policies, and systems. This is a strong opportunity for someone who thrives in cross-functional settings, takes initiative, and enjoys improving and leading cybersecurity programs.
Full-time hybrid.
Key Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

5–7 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience

5–7 years in IT operations within complex enterprise environments

Certifications such as Security+, GSEC, CEH, or CISSP

Practical understanding of CIS Critical Security Controls

Proficiency with Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy

Experience using tools such as SIEM, antivirus, IDS/IPS, WAFs, and web filtering solutions

Knowledge of core protocols: SNMP, HTTPS, SMTP, NTP, LDAP, Kerberos, RADIUS, FTP
-
Strong communication, documentation, and analytical skills
Preferred Experience:

Understanding of NIST and FFIEC compliance frameworks

Familiarity with cloud services like AWS and Azure, as well as Splunk
-
Interest in scripting, automation, or improving operational workflows

Experience configuring network firewalls

Participation in cybersecurity communities or events is a plus
