Our client is a fast-growing, Y Combinator-backed startup transforming the logistics and freight industry with innovative technology solutions. Since its founding in 2018, the company has successfully raised a Series A round with good runway and continues to scale rapidly. With a strong product-market fit and a platform that processes high-value transactions daily, they are expanding their team to drive the next phase of growth.

As a Product Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and executing product strategy, working at the intersection of logistics, automation, and AI-driven solutions. You’ll collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams to build tools that optimize freight spend management, automate invoice processing, and enhance financial and operational audits. This is an exciting opportunity for a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and has experience working with complex data-driven systems.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in product management, ideally in a startup or tech-driven environment.
  • Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) automation, particularly in logistics or fintech.
  • Strong analytical skills, with SQL proficiency (Python is a plus).
  • Background in logistics, shipping, or freight management preferred.
  • Experience working on 0-to-1 product development in a high-growth setting.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams, drive product roadmaps, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of AI applications in shipping/trucking logistics is highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute product strategy, prioritizing features that align with business goals.
  • Lead initiatives focused on AP/AR automation and financial audit enhancements.
  • Conduct user research and analyze data to identify pain points and validate product ideas.
  • Develop and maintain detailed product requirements and user stories.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, sales, and operations to ensure seamless product development.
  • Conduct user testing and iterate based on feedback to continuously improve the product.
  • Manage multiple product initiatives and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary ($130K–$180K base) + bonus + equity.
  • Hybrid work model (2 days per week in NYC office).
  • Comprehensive medical benefits and unlimited PTO.
  • Collaborative, high-impact work environment in a fast-growing startup backed by top investors.
