Mid-Senior Level .NET Developer / Hybrid / Chicago, IL

Their all-in-one solution provides sellers with a competitive edge by streamlining ticket inventory management from purchase to automated delivery. They help customers focus on maximizing sales and improving their business operations with seamless, efficient tools.

They are seeking a highly skilled Mid-Senior Level Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working within the Microsoft tech stack. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining our core applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and seamless integration to support their growing customer base.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET, Razor, Blazor, and .NET MVC.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless integrations with internal and third-party systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and enhancements.
• Ensure the scalability and performance of the application by following best coding practices and architectural patterns.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and technical issues.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and guidelines.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to process improvements.

Required Skills and Experience 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on .NET Core and ASP.NET.
• Proficiency in Razor, Blazor, and .NET MVC frameworks.
• Strong experience with SQL Server, including database design, queries, and optimization.
• Solid understanding of building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong attention to detail.

• Hybrid (3 days onsite // 2 days WFH)
