C++ Engineer / HFT or Gaming Expereince Preferred

This company is a trading shop, located in downtown Chicago. They are hiring for a backend trading infrastructure engineer. This isn't quant work; rather, it's the low-latency that makes everything run. IT includes data feeds, networking, and the software that glues high-performance systems together. This is a hybrid role, 3 days in the office. Must currently be in the Chicago area to be considered.

You'd own meaningful pieces of the stack from day one. The team values engineers who can translate ambiguous problems into efficient code and who actually understand the systems they're building. This is in C++ and will only entertain candidates who come from static coding backgrounds.


Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of professional experience
• In-depth C++ experience
• Networking fundamental experience
• Familiarity with distributed systems, HFT
• B.S. in Computer Science or related field
