C++ Software Engineer / Full Time / Hybrid / Trading Strategies

A global forward-thinking trading firm focused on integrating automation, AI, and data driven solutions is looking for software engineers eager to apply their technical skills to low-latency trading environment. You will collaborate with traders and researchers to design, develop, test and deploy trading strategies. This role focuses on building out software that processes vast amounts of data to fuel sophisticated, high-speed strategies, ensuring we capitalize on market opportunities faster than their competitors.

You’ll apply your expertise in parallel computing, trading systems, and performance optimization, overseeing both technical work and architectural design. As a leader, you’ll manage projects and team growth while developing software within Agile frameworks. This position is on a Hybrid basis, reporting to offices in the Chicago Loop. Required Skills & Experience

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related
• At least 3 years of experience in building efficient and scalable software using modern C++ (C++ 14 or newer)
• Experience in developing trading systems or passion for financial markets
• Demonstrated ability to make data driven decisions
• Expertise in distributed computing, data structures and algorithms
• Strong knowledge of multi-threading and multi-core programming techniques

• Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of advanced trading strategies using modern C++

• Build software using Agile principles and best practices in modern software development
• Work closely with traders and quantitative researchers to enhance and refine high-performance, low-latency trading systems
