Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps
- 3+ years of experience in Infrastructure Security (PCI/DSS, NIST, CIS)
- Proficiency in using cloud-based platforms like AWS with Guard Duty
- Expertise with Infrastructure as code or building CI/CD pipelines (Terraform or others)
- Experience troubleshooting, securing or updating Network Infrastructure
- Scripting knowledge and capabilities
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience implementing best security practices
- Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related fields
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with IT ticketing systems
- Container knowledge (Kubernetes, Docker)
What You Will Be Doing
Tech Breakdown
- 60% Security Automation and Monitoring (Palo Alto, PCI/DSS, Datadog, HashiCorp)
- 30% Cloud Platforms (LAN, DNS, DHCP)
- 10% Scripting (Bash, Python)
- Monitor and alert for any system bugs or potential security threats
- Remain in compliance with the company’s best security practices
- Leverage IaC tools to update and make largescale improvements to system
- Create comprehensive security reports and risk assessments
- Implement security technology during system development
