Mid Software Engineer

A Chicago-based start-up operating in the live sports, theater, and concert markets is seeking a talented Mid Software Engineer to join its growing team. Headquartered in the heart of Chicago IL, the company’s mission is to build automated solutions for a client base of secondary market ticket sellers.

The team is focused on developing tools to streamline the entire process of buying and selling event tickets—from the initial purchase on platforms like Ticketmaster to the final delivery of tickets to end users who may have purchased them on StubHub. The Mid Software Engineer will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative software solutions that optimize the ticketing process. The ideal candidate will contribute to building robust applications and APIs to support seamless
operations across platforms.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in ASP.Net and .Net Core
• Strong experience with C# programming
• Knowledge of Razor/MVC/Blazor frameworks
• Expertise in SQL Server for database management
• Experience building APIs from scratch

What you will be doing

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications
• Build and implement APIs from scratch to enable platform integrations
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems for improved performance and reliability
• Participate in Agile workflows to ensure efficient project delivery
