This company is an innovative Chicago -based technology firm searching for an experienced Network Engineer to maintain mission critical infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding in Network Protocols, monitoring and troubleshooting software and above all, an expertise in Juniper system devices.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 4+ years of experience as Network Engineer
  • Extensive experience with Juniper devices
  • Ability to implement networking protocols
  • Understanding of managing LAN/WAN
  •  Experience troubleshooting, securing or updating Network Infrastructure
  • Basic scripting experience
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Juniper Certifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related fields
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
What You Will Be Doing
Tech Breakdown
  • 60% Network Infrastructure (BGP, LAN/WAN, MPLS)
  • 30% Network Devices (Juniper)
  • 10% Scripting (Bash, Python)
Daily Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and manage Juniper based network solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with routers, switches and firewalls
  • Facilitate and implement updates and system upgrades
  • Maintain and update network operational procedures
  • Implement security technology during system development
