Operations Manager / Hybrid / Chicago

Growing SaaS organization headquartered in the western neighborhoods of Chicago are looking to add an Operations Manager with a strong background in third-party logistics (3PL). The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of our logistics and supply chain functions, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and client satisfaction. This role requires a leader with excellent organizational skills, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to manage complex logistics networks.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within a 3PL environment.

• Strong knowledge of logistics, warehousing, and supply chain processes.

• Proficiency in using WMS, TMS (transportation management systems), and other relevant software.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding operational KPIs and financial targets.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.

• Certification in supply chain or logistics management (e.g., APICS, CLTD).

• Familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment operations.
