A leading financial technology firm seeks a Senior Client Support Analyst to join their client-facing team supporting institutional clients using their proprietary low-latency trading platform. This role combines technical expertise with client service, requiring experience in trading operations, FIX protocol, and development technologies including SQL, Python, and C#. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with US Equities, Derivatives, and Futures markets, while possessing or being able to obtain key FINRA licenses including Series 3, 7, and 63.
The role involves providing comprehensive Level 1 and 2 support across multiple channels, troubleshooting complex trading systems, managing client connectivity, and ensuring smooth order routing between multiple execution brokers. Beyond technical support, the position requires leadership capabilities to train new analysts and collaborate closely with Enterprise Operations, Sales, and Development teams. The successful candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, and maintain composure while managing multiple high-priority issues simultaneously. This position is based in downtown Chicago with a hybrid work arrangement requiring at least three days in office per week.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of professional experience
- Experience with FIX protocol and managing trading connectivity (FIX protocol 4.0/4.2/4.4/5.0)
- Trading operations support experience with US equities and derivatives
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple high-priority issues in real-time trading environments
- Technical troubleshooting skills for order routing and system connectivity issues
- Client service experience in a financial/trading environment
Desired Skills & Experience
- Programming proficiency in Python, SQL, and C# (especially for automation and analysis)
- Existing FINRA licenses (Series 7, 63, 3) - though they can be obtained within 6 months
- Experience with institutional trading platforms and order management systems
- Leadership experience in training or mentoring team members
- Prior experience in a similar role at a trading firm, broker-dealer, or financial technology company
