Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of hands-on experience architecting and implementing large-scale, highly available services on public cloud (AWS preferred)
- Strong to Expert understanding of Kubernetes including cluster management, security, and Helm deployment at an enterprise level
- Expert knowledge of immutable infrastructure and provisioning tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation)
- Expert understanding of AWS products: EC2, S3, ALB/NLB, VPC, Lambda, RDS, ElastiCache, DynamoDB, Batch, IAM, SQS, SNS
- Strong knowledge of automation scripting using Python and/or Bash
- Strong knowledge of Linux administration (RHEL-based systems)
- Strong operational understanding of networking concepts and hybrid cloud integration
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate
- Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS)
- Additional AWS, Azure, or GCP resource specializations
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible)
- Public cloud architecture and strategy planning experience
- Contributions to open-source projects
- Knowledge of AI/ML infrastructure management
- Experience with platform engineering practices
- Understanding of FinOps principles and cloud cost optimization
