Network Engineer/Hybrid Cleveland

Our client, a leading organization in the Manufacturing industry is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Network Engineer to join their growing team. Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain network systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, ASA, Meraki, or other platforms).
• Monitor and optimize network performance, including LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless technologies.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining network security measures, such as firewalls and access controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure projects, including upgrades and migrations.
• Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patching of network equipment.
• Document network configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures for internal use.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in network engineering, including routing and switching (Layer 2/Layer 3).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco technologies, including configuring and troubleshooting routers and switches.
• Knowledge of network security principles and experience with firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco).
• Familiarity with SD-WAN, VLANs, and VoIP solutions is a plus.
• Experience with wireless technologies, such as Cisco Meraki or Aruba, is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are highly desirable.
