Application Security Engineer / Firewall Policy Expert

$60/hr - $75/hr

A 500 financial company is looking for an Application Security Engineer with a strong background in network firewall security policies. You'll install and manage security systems and work closely with client and customer facing applications, while also improving the overall security program and ensure their firewalls are secured and protected. Ideal candidates have hands on experience administering firewall policies, creating company-wide policies, and have led small to mid-sized security projects. Background in financial spaces or other highly regulated industry is a big plus.

This role is remote hybrid in Detroit, MI, or Dallas TX, or fully remote for candidates who can show a history of success working remotely. Required Skills & Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in Cyber Security
  • 2+ years of experience as an App Sec Engineer
  • Extensive experience administering firewall policy
  • Experience leading cyber security projects
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM
