Seeking a Project Manager for a great opportunity with our healthcare industry client in Dallas, TX! This will be a permanent position, and you will have the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite / 2 days remote).
Location: Dallas, TX 75240 (Near the Galleria Mall)
Please note that this is NOT a Technical Project Manager role but experience with IT/data/application-related projects is needed.
We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on general Project Manager to:
- Lead and manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring efficient execution and organization.
- Oversee projects that involve IT, data (or clinic side of data), infrastructure, or applications, including packaged and custom applications.
- Take full ownership of projects, providing status updates (weekly meetings) and reporting directly to executives.
- Utilize Green, Yellow, Red management for tracking project health and proactively addressing issues.
*** The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing smaller-scale projects that involve IT, data, or applications, including packaged or customized applications. ***
Top Must-Have Skills/Experience:
- At least 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager
- Experience managing smaller projects within a mid-size organization (MUST HAVE)
- Hands-on experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices
- Comfortable working in a less structured setting, capable of making independent decisions and driving results.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels, including executive leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, drive, and coordinate with functional business stakeholders and vendors to define and document project scope, requirements, timelines, and resources.
- Drive project to meet deadlines and complete project deliverables in accordance with leadership’s expectations.
- Develop & maintain detailed project plans for assigned projects.
- Work with cross functional teams to effectively allocate resources to project tasks.
- Track work assignments across teams from multiple business units, including internal and external business partners, to ensure accountability for task completion.
- Manage and schedule project calls, develop meeting agendas, meeting minutes, note action items.
- Manage issues & risks that have potential to negatively impact project deadlines.
- Manage multiple related and unrelated projects simultaneously.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders regarding project task, issues, risks, timelines, and assignments.
- Prepare project status reports for management, client, or others.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical discipline and three (3) years’ experiences
- If no degree, six (6) years of project management experience
- CAPM or PMP preferred but not required.
- Skilled in time management
- Skilled in managing & organizing multiple projects and priorities
- Skilled in problem solving, analytical thinking, planning, and organizing
- Skilled in MS Office Applications and Smartsheets or MS Project
- Travel may be required domestically up to 5% of the time
