Cloud Security Engineer / 1st hire

A large HR and consulting company is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer with a strong background working with CSPM platforms and multicloud environments - Azure, AWS, and/or GCP. You'll be the first Cloud Security hire for the group and work closely with App Sec engineers. You'll work with Infrastructure as code, help secure CI/CD pipelines, and ensure compliance standards are met - GDPR, NIST, SOX, HIPAA, CMMC, etc.

Ideal candidates have experience with infrastructure as code, pen testing, CPSM, Tenable or Wiz, and have worked in multi-cloud environments. Strong communication skills are also needed as you'll work with other teams, leadership, and non-technical staff.

This role is fully remote and a great opportunity to expand your skillset. Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of experience in cloud security
• Deep understanding of CSPM platforms
• Experience in multi-cloud environments - Azure, AWS, GCP
• Experience with infrastructure as code
• Experience conducting penetration tests in cloud environments
• Proficiency with security tools such as Wiz and Tenable
• Experience with frameworks such as GDPR, NIST, SOX, HIPAA, CMMC, etc.
• Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, OSCP, CSSLP) are highly desirable.
