Microsoft Solutions Administrator

Job Description

Our client, a leading provider of ancillary vehicle protection programs, is seeking a Microsoft Solutions Administrator out of Irving, Texas. This position will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing the companies M365 environment including their SharePoint Intranet site.
This position will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the company's SharePoint intranet site, regularly updating SharePoint software and plugins, implementing security measures and managing and troubleshooting access and permissions.
This is a full-time role that can pay $120k. The position is hybrid with 3 days on site, 2 days remote.
Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a SharePoint Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online.
• Experience working with Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience with SharePoint security and permissions management.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field (preferred).
• 2+ years experience working with Microsoft Graph API
• 2+ years experience with cloud and hybrid, or on premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
• 3+ years experience working on technical projects.
• 3+ years working in a customer facing role (e.g. internal and or/ external).
• 2+ years experience working Microsoft intune or other similar endpoint management solutions.

What You Will Be Doing

Tech Breakdown

• Monitor and maintain the company's SharePoint intranet site.
• Work within Microsoft Entra ID and the M365 environment.

Daily Responsibilities

• Regularly update SharePoint software and plugins to the latest versions.
• Create, edit, and manage content on the intranet site, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• Manage user access and permissions, ensuring that the right employees have appropriate access levels.
• Collaborate with different departments to ensure content alignment with their needs and goals.

• Troubleshoot access issues and provide timely support to users.
