A non-profit organization in the Dallas-Fort Worth area provides vital services such as meals on wheels and hospice/palliative care to support older adults in aging with dignity. They are currently seeking a System Administrator II to collaborate with the Infrastructure Manager in overseeing the organization's IT infrastructure. This role involves assisting with projects, maintaining networks, systems, and voice services, as well as delivering Tier 1-4 technical support to users.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience working with a diverse tech stack, including Windows, VMware, Meraki, SAN, InTune, iPads, and Azure. They should be skilled in managing and maintaining IT systems and networks and be comfortable with transitioning infrastructure to cloud-based solutions. The candidate should also have the expertise to assist in upgrading Meraki networks, potentially transitioning to Ubiquiti, while contributing to the organization’s goal of reducing its physical datacenter footprint.
This is a direct hire position requiring onsite work 3-4 days per week in Dallas, located slightly northwest of the Love Field airport. The compensation range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000 annually.

Required Skills & Experience
- Current Microsoft Server and VMware experience
- 2-3 years of experience in a multi-server, multi-protocol network environment
- Cisco Network and routing protocol experience
- iPhone/iPad and MDM knowledge
- Current knowledge of the Azure security stack (Sentinel, MFA, Access Rules, etc.)
- Working knowledge of cloud-based environments and SD-WANs
- Experience working with Meraki networks, with the potential to transition to Ubiquiti
- Familiarity with SAN (Storage Area Networks) and InTune for device management
Desired Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with monitoring and maintaining Microsoft Windows Server environments
- Experience with Office 365/Azure services and cloud infrastructure monitoring
- Understanding of strategies to reduce physical datacenter footprints and transition to cloud-based solutions
